Lebanon Kentucky Equine Portrait Session at The Family Farm in Lebanon Kentucky | Kate + Thunder

It’s been one week already which means it’s time again for a Flashback Friday post! This was actually my fifth session with Kate but my first session with her and her horse Thunder! We did this earlier this year and talk about a pair that matches up perfectly!

There’s a lot of words and sayings that come to mind when I think about young ladies and their horses. And when I think about Kate and her horse Thunder, it cracks me up.

You see, these two are two peas in a pod. When Kate wants to go one way, Thunder will argue just a little, but will soon follow behind her. Or he’s completely standing his ground and being 100% stubborn.

For Kate and Thunder’s session we wanted to shoot at a spot that was meaningful, and what better place to shoot at than Kate’s family farm!

My favorite part of this session was every time a car would drive pass on the freeway, Thunder’s ears would just perk up and he would watch the cars! I’m not joking! Kate said it’s his favorite thing to do! lol!
