Stomping Ground, Kentucky Horse and Rider Session at Brighton Wells Farms | Aly, Casper + Jagger

Flashback Friday post takes us all the way back to May of 2019!! This was the first time I was trying out the black background portraits as well as trying to show more connection between rider and horse! And I think I accomplished that!

Flashback Friday is here again y’all! Which means it’s time we post another throwback to an equine session! And this one includes, Aly and Casper again as well as someone new!

Aly and Casper may look very familiar and she should! I’ve posted about a session I did with her a while ago that you can check out here, but this time, I got to work with these two as well as Aly’s newest addition Jagger!

I really wanted to try and see if equine portraits was a.) something that I really wanted to add to my business and b.) would this kind of session be something that I could successfully do?



And to answer both, yes! I definitely can! This taught me what I needed to practice more on, what not to do, but overall this gave me a chance to work with Aly again and really see that I want to make sure I can work with horses in anyway I can!
